Dow Jones publishes the world's most trusted business news and financial information in a variety of media. With over 5,000 employees, they needed a more effective way of communicating internally.
Redesigned the company’s intranet site to be more intuitive for employees, more interactive with news-worthy content, and have a look and feel that better represents their global organization. Also, designed their monthly e-newsletter, The Lead, which is sent out to all of their employees. The email linked to its own landing page, where employees could read stories complete with embedded video and galleries. This campaign was a PR AWARDS 2014 winner.
They also replaced their annual media release PDF with an interactive infographic. This piece highlighted the top media mentions and company statistics in an easy-to-understand innovative format. Additional information, facts, charts and stories were revealed through clicks to provide an enhanced user experience for recipients. This infographic was Dow Jones’s most successful promotional piece yet and was picked up and rerun by other huge media outlets such as the NY Times, LA Times, CNET, Forbes, and others.
