Holding Space Postpartum came to Patrice Horvath Design seeking a visual identity that would speak to all kinds of growing families—not just birthing mothers. Founder Heather wanted a brand that felt safe, warm, and inclusive, while still reflecting the earthy, natural palette of Bend, Oregon. To bring her vision to life, we created a premium branding suite with a doula logo design, a custom Squarespace website, and collateral materials to launch her offerings in postpartum care, lactation counseling, and family nutrition with confidence.
The logo features an abstract symbol that hints at both a parent and child while maintaining a soft, floral quality—subtle enough to feel universal, yet specific enough to evoke comfort and connection. The brand palette blends muted agave green with indigo and clay tones, drawing inspiration from the high desert landscape where the business is rooted. Paired with approachable sans-serif typography, the overall look conveys calm authority and support.
The website was built on Squarespace and designed to clearly showcase her three core services, each with its own section, distinct color accents, and package details. A thoughtful FAQ page helps reduce friction for new visitors, while a blog and lead magnet strategy help grow her email list. We also set up an automated welcome email sequence, helping Heather nurture connections with future clients from the moment they opt in.
Deliverables included full brand identity assets (logo variations, brand pattern, fonts, and color palette), business cards, a letterhead, a quarter-page ad, and training support for ongoing updates. The finished doula website design aligns beautifully with her mission to “hold space” for families during a deeply personal time.
